A FUN DAY WITH A GREAT CAUSE: BENEFIT ST. JUDE CHILDRENS RESEARCH HOSPITAL
The 2nd Annual Walk to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be held just before Fun Day at Locke Avenue Park, Woolwich Township on Saturday, June 9th (rain date June 10th).


    A FUN DAY WITH A GREAT CAUSE:

/Delaware News Articles/ - WILMINGTON, DE, May 23, 2007 - Breakfast and registration will begin by 9am, followed by a fun-filled morning of entertainment (including services by Crozer Medical Center, raffle table, music, balloon animals and much more).

This year, just raise $10 to walk! All walkers will receive breakfast, a certificate, free exercise class (Stroller Strides exercises also available) and starter raffle tickets (18 y/o and over; under will receive Wendy's Certificates). Raise $35 and additionally receive a St. Jude Tee-Shirt; $75 for a t-shirt and backpack! There are also GRAND PRIZES to be given in three categories:
· Most money raised BY MAY 18th
· Most money raised by the morning of the WALK
· Most money raised by a STUDENT (under 18y/o)

To guarantee prize arrival in time for the Walk and to be eligible for the EARLY Grand Prize, send in checks postmarked by May 18th to the address below. Then continue raising money (the money you raise early will be combined with the money you turn in at the walk for a better chance of the TOTAL Grand Prize!) Walkers signing up June 9th may receive prizes after the Walk-A-Thon. Remember to bring cash only for our great raffle table tickets!

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Founded by the late entertainer, Danny Thomas, and based out of Memphis, TN, St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities throughout the world. No family ever pays for treatments not covered by insurance, and families without insurance are never asked to pay. All of St. Jude's overhead is kept low, which is why St. Jude is financially supported by ALSAC (its fundraising organization). Every dollar raised at this Walk will be sent directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!
