Governor Schwarzenegger Stops at the Speakman booth during the Green CA Summit
During a visit to the Green California Summit last month, Governor Schwarzenegger stopped at the Speakman Company booth to learn about Speakman's latest innovation, the OASys.


NEW CASTLE, DE, April 04, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Governor Schwarzenegger made a stop at the Speakman Company booth during the Green California Summit to learn about Speakman's latest innovative product, the OASys. Speakman's Technical Sales Engineer, Moe Salem, had an opportunity to explain how the system operates and why OASys is a green energy saving product for Californians.

OASys, a technological breakthrough in Indirect/Direct evaporative cooling, saves 80% in energy costs over traditional cooling and uses no harmful gases. The California Energy Commission sponsored the development of OASys and Speakman achieved its goal of producing an enhanced energy efficient air conditioning system. The key to OASys is a unique heat exchanger combined with a single pump/blower configuration. Unlike conventional air conditioning systems, which recirculate indoor air, OASys continuously conditions and delivers fresh outdoor air - the Outdoor Air System. OASys produces up to 3.5 tons of cooling while using less than 600 watts for an energy efficiency equivalent to better than 40 SEER. Switching to OASys cooling will result in an 80% energy savings without sacrificing comfort.

In addition to OASys, Speakman's entire line of green products was displayed at the Green California Summit held at the Sacramento Convention Center, March 16-18. The Summit showcased manufacturers with products which help reduce energy usage and help create awareness to make the state of California greener.
